How publications are selected, verified and discussed.
Selection
We prioritise peer-reviewed articles, preprints, technical reports, datasets and protocol documents that offer a substantive finding, method or analysis. Promotional material and commentary without documentary substance are excluded.
Verification
Each reference is checked against its DOI, journal, institutional repository or original document. Its publication status is stated. Where the full text is unavailable, the scope of the commentary is explicitly limited.
Analysis
Each bulletin separates the research question, the reported finding, the proposed interpretation and what the design actually supports. Particular attention is paid to statistical power, preregistration, exclusions, multiple analyses, data access and opportunities for replication.
Corrections
Substantive corrections are dated. Source files and the history of changes remain available in the GitHub repository.
